Fayssal El-Jabali DO

Fayssal El-Jabali, DO, is a board-certified ophthalmologist who is fellowship-trained in vitreoretinal disease management and surgery. He diagnoses and treats patients at Network Eye located in Tampa, Florida. 

Dr. El-Jabali received his bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of South Florida in Tampa, then continued to Nova Southeastern University in Ft Lauderdale. He completed his medical internship at St. John’s Oakland Hospital in Madison Heights, Michigan. He then did a general surgery second-year residency training in Queens, New York, where he continued for his Ophthalmology Residency in Queens and Brooklyn, New York. He continued with an additional Fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal Surgery at the Retina Institute in Hawaii.

Dr. El-Jabali brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his practice, using the most modern technology in the application of injections, laser and other treatments to treat retinal disorders. He speaks English and Arabic fluently and speaks conversational French and American Sign Language (ASL).

Dr. El-Jabali has a passion for clinical research studies and has partnered with multi-national scientific institutions, collaborating on advanced studies and clinical trials. His hope is that his research will contribute to discoveries of new treatments and preventive measures for sight-threatening retinal eye diseases.
